Already reviewed the original, so an actual review here isn't really necessary. I think you leveled out the volumes nicely here. As the NAC Judge stated in his review of the original, the bass could be overpowering at times. That was fixed nicely in this track. I wouldn't necessarily say it's BETTER, just different. I could listen to both versions for different reasons. The original had(in my opinion) a slightly grittier sound, making it seem a little more old-school, which is great. I think you did an awesome job on both tracks.

This reminds me of sitting around with my best friend playing SNES games, or the old Game Boy Color Pokemon games. It's really fast-paced, which is awesome, I love faster music. This is seriously awesome, I can't really find anything in it that's not to my liking. Keep it up man.

Sounds like a theme for a haunted house level in a really old video game. I like it. I love the bass. Percussion sounds were nice. Melodies were simple, but awesome. I love the vibe this song gives off. Keep it up. Only thing is, for a 3-minute song, it doesn't really change much. Could use a little more variation. Overall though, it's an awesome piece.

Fuck yes..

I've been eagerly anticipating this ever since Speak No DJ. i was eagerly anticipating Speak No DJ since Fear No DJ. and i was eagerly anticipating all 3 when i saw your news post. i love the drum patterns in this song, as i do with all your others. the sample was awesome. i think it's amazing that you went outside your comfort zone and still managed to produce such an amazing track. i think this deserves a 10, 5, and a favorite(and i don't give out fav's too much anymore).

good shit

saw this in the new submissions list..i love it. combining native american instrumentation with hip hop..genius. i like the melodies you employed here. not a big fan of the snare rolls, but that's just a personal opinion(a little too mainstream-sounding for my tastes). really nice song overall. i'm adding this to my favorites. keep it up.

I like the industrial feel this song has. Never really liked Manson, but this is a good remix of his (in my opinion) terrible cover of a song that wasn't really that good anyway. I like what you did with it though, turned out pretty cool.

BlowinMoneyENT responds:

thanks man, your one in a million.

i listened to the whole thing, and it was pretty awesome. i'm hoping you'll eventually finish all of these. except the dubstep. fuck that shit(lulz). awesome work.

Drums...

Reviewed this song over at theaudioportal, so i'll go ahead and review it again here. It's not a bad song at all. The melodies were awesome, as well as the synths used to create those melodies. However, like I told you over at theaudioportal.com, the drums need to be louder. What you have here is more pop than hip hop. Boost those drums a bit, and you'd get a perfect score from me. Nice work overall.

Thanks for reviewing!
I might take this one off, remaster it and name it something else so people aren't expecting Hiphop! :)

I love it. The beat was awesome, lyrics were great. Sounds like the lyrics were inspired by the Need for Speed games. I used to play those a lot. I'd definitely crank this while I played. Awesome work.

RemixF2D responds:

beautiful piece. i love the strings especially. strings are one of my favorite instruments in classical. the percussion was nice as well. once this is finished, it'll be amazing. sounds like a really emotional track.

Echo responds:

Glad you liked it! The string section is a particular favorite of mine too and i like to use string instruments in most of my songs.

Thanks for the review and the ten, much appreciated!

Hey. Check my music. Review me and I review you. Fair trade? I think so.
