love it.

whether it should be classified as hip hop or not, doesn't matter. It's rap-able. and to me that's all that matters. the synth might make it less hip hop and more trance, but the beat definitely makes this a good track for rapping to. amazing melody, and great drum samples. great work.

CKC2009 responds:

thanks and btw no drum samples that my drums..

holy shit

this was put together really well. everything sounded amazing. the mastering on it was so good that i honestly thought you'd just taken one of your favorite bands and uploaded one of their tracks. i was pleasantly surprised. good work.

I liked this song a lot. Slow, calm, relaxing. I liked the choir samples really well. Didn't really care for the drum hit at the end though.

Calamaistr responds:

ah thank you :)
the hit was a means of closure i guess. :)

sounding good.

the use of vocal samples was a nice touch. sounds pretty original to me. good work on that as well.

Zizmo responds:

Thanks, cant tell you how long I take in making sure each sound is absolutely perfect and different :)

awesome

gotta give you props for going outside of your usual hip hop. your hip hop was great, but i like it when people throw something different out there. definitely need practice, but for an early recording, this sounds great. i thought the vocal line was amazing, and the lyrics were good, like most of your lyrics. the drums sounded fine to me, as did the guitar. sounds great.

great

kinda depressing though, this being your last song and all. i'm hoping somewhere along the line you'll change your mind about that, because i'm a huge fan. just make sure you hit me with a PM when you upload new tracks to wherever it is you end up uploading.

i loved the use of guitar and real drums in this song. i could definitely see the dude from Limp Bizkit rapping over this one(wtf was that guy's name, can't remember).

sounding good

unfortunately, not knowing much about Dubstep, i can't really offer any constructive criticism on this one. but i loved the sounds this song started out with. sounds completely different from most Dubstep i've heard. great work, and good luck with the contest.

Cheers dude, ye it isn't your usual dubstep but I don't really know what category it falls under because it still has underlying elements from dubstep but also sounds different at the same time.

fuck yes

sounds great. i love the combination of rapped vocals with metal guitars. i'm thinking it could have been slightly better with acoustic drums, but that's really just a personal opinion. lyrics were funny and the rapping was well-done. keep it up.

by the way, i didn't see anybody dissing this. did his review get deleted?

sounds good

totally funky. i really dig this one. i'm just wondering, is this an original beat, or is it sampled? if it's sampled, mind pointing me to the original? i almost always listen to the original song to see exactly what parts were sampled from the song, and how good of a job it seems to be.

anyway, the bass sounds amazing, as does the piano and guitar, and the vocal samples meshed perfectly with all of it. this would be an amazing beat for rapping too. if i had a decent mic and a good rapping voice, i'd totally try to freestyle over this one.
